During an interview between Jay-Z & DJ Semtex. The rapper stated that he did not want any beef with King (formerly know as MC) Hammer at all. He even wrote great things about him in his new book, "Decoded".
Jigga Said:
"I didn’t know that wasn’t on the table for discussion. I didn’t know I was the first person to ever say that? Am I? I’m not, am I? I know I’ve heard that before, I didn’t think I was the first one to say it. I guess, you know when I say things, I think people believe me so much that they take it a different way. It’s not rap anymore at that point. I didn’t mean it."
" I said some great things about him in the [Decoded] book that I have coming out — he’s gonna be like, embarrassed. I said some really great things about him in the book and about people’s perception of him and how he’s from East Oakland. It is what it is. He took it the wrong way. I didn’t know I said anything wrong. I don’t know if I said a lie.”
Uh oh, seems that Hammer may have a little "Foot-In-Mouth" moment after reading this. Im still not buying the fact that Jay Z didnt know this was a lie. To be completely honest with you, we truly believe that Hammer sought this as the perfect opportunity for a comeback. What better way to do that than to diss the hottest rapper of the moment? Obviously, he hasn't heard any of Jay-Z's diss tracks against Nas. I still find this mildly entertaining to say the least.

wooow, the diss record that mc hammer put out was Helllllllla lame. I think even Kirk Franklin could've done a better job. Hammer, take your parachute pants and retire already!
